  1. stg.com has 2ct's for $318 for 120/180 set, and PP's for $294. PR mediums going for $300 for a set of 120/180's. just for fun Michelin slicks are going for 350. i dont see a huge difference...
  2. o yes i know, believe me i have moved on to other artists.
  3. me and basshunter are bff's lol sounds like it'd be neat to go. i think i have over 2000 techno songs... is that too much?? i just got crazy with torrent files, downloaded 10, 100 song volumes of house/techno music and then a few more albums... it all started with sandstorm on the radio.
  4. i had no idea you were into that nick! atb has some good beats. too bad ill be gone on spring break. never been to a techno/house concert. is it like a party on steroids?
  5. yea you would have told your buddies at the lunch table...
  6. dont get me wrong, carbs will last. its just a PITA when you see all the guys getting their engine dyno tuned right then and there and go home with a tuned bike, where you have to go home, dig into the carbs, figure out which jet to change and decide between a 158 or a 160 or the many other choices, go back and try again... it is possible also to convert a first gen R6 carb'd bike to FI for around 200-700 dollars depending on what kind of deals you get, also may be possible on other bikes, but for sure 99-02 R6's. Someone did it on the R6 board im on, going to be my next winter project.
  7. not really custom, just some spray paint:
  8. love that you want an R6 first, but at that price its going to be hard to find a good FI one. do what i should have done and saved a little bit more for a decent second gen and up R6, or at least a bike with FI. carbs, albeit classic and totally awesome, are a bitch. somewhat similar to girls.
  9. im off of kemp right near the fire station and wartinger park, now where you at?
  10. i dont believe in global warming. its not something we are to be concerned with in our lifetime. however i do have some inkling as to the seasons shifting. winter is now almost jan/feb/mar; spring is apr/may/june; summer is jul/aug/sept; fall is oct/nov/dec. thats what it feels like at least...
  11. unless you have already done that and gotten the plastic piece out and are talking about separating the needle from clip... been a while but on mine i think it was just free floating with a spring or something holding it in place. pics?
  12. there should be some sort of pinch clip holding it in to the diaphragm. can't say for sure if thats they way it is for yours, thats just what it was for my r6.
