eh if you're doing mostly street with some track I'd say you'll be fine with Galfer or EBC HH pads.
i got the galfer 1375 series and I love them!
i'd say the vesrah rjl's (from stg.com) are more the other way around, if you did more track than street these would be perfect, the rjl's that is.
i've had good experience from kneedraggers.com, but i like stg or indysuperbikes.com simply because they will match any price on the net, even freebay, and it will be at your door in a day or two.

its all a lot easier than it looks. i was in the same boat as you after my first winter, and now im changing out transmissions (well just one) and replacing clutches, etc...
bikes are a lot easier to work on than it seems.
no worries casper and max will help you out bud!

when i first read this last night, i thought you mean you bought a hybrid...
-
o yes it survived nicely
i've done about 95 miles on it since i put it back together. so i can almost say i did a good job on it lol

to school and back? -- that swedish first aid symbol company backpack that everyone has...
to OU or longer trips? -- tank bag from cortech/tourmaster. best thing evar. i can fit my some books, 4 days worth of clothing, miscellaneous crap that i dont need, pair of shoes all in this 5 or 7L bag (i dont remember which)
and plus one to osumj. i have had the unfortunate experience of riding with the zippers by my neck my first year of riding on the highway. wind forced the zipper open and my stuff came flying out. with my luck of course it landed in the median. but i did find a state trooper on my turnaround and asked her for help and she obliged. cops around my parts are all nice

I like the idea of actually having "articles" in the newsletter. Maybe someone writes about the group ride and posts up a few pictures?
Similar to a threadstarter only w/o the discussion and mindless "sweet ride" or "glad you enjoyed it" posts...
o and twice a month will be fine.

stock or BMC is really the only way to go with 99-05 R6's Brennan
-
or if you're talking the DJ side of things with mixing tracks and what not try VirtualDJ. I've got a bunch of hit songs that are a capella and back beats if you want them.
if you're in to creating your own work, FruityLoops is the way to go, but not without the Nexus plugin.

ok without even watching how do i know they didn't just put cameras in there before they taped the movie...
-
damn you and your medium sized shell head.
i would have bought this right here and now if it was a large.
bump.
-
k/n showed a 3-5hp decrease on the earlier R6's.

where at in the creek?

i saw a comparison shot of halogens vs HID's with no projector and it looked the same as far as light scatter only much brighter.
pics below are all from a reflector housing--
normal halogen lights:
HID's:
-
i know the will work, just wanna see just how "bad" they really are.
-
with no projector housings your gonna have a scattered light beam, alot of people dont care, cause they are still brighter, but the person driving, or riding towards you might lol.
ill get some pics of my buddy's 99 r6 with his HIDs on at night. so you can judge for yourself.
and the bags are tourmaster coretech, tribag system (tail bag, and saddlebags)
hey can you post up the pics of your friends 99 with HID's in a reflector housing?
-
looked up retrofitting HID's, on paper it doesn't look to difficult. But im sure the actual process and getting the right parts and what not will be the hard part...
-
is it possible to have a hi/lo combo with HID's? or is it one bulb per function?
If its the latter, would that mean your friends 99-02 R6 has a more "modern" look with the cyclops light as a low beam and both on for the high?
Also would I be able to use a Hi and Lo projector off a 03-05 R6 and retrofit it into the 99? What all is involved with retrofitting?

Nick just has really good zoom on his lens
you don't need a yardstick, through a hand in there or a piece of paper. gosh nick think outside of the box!

lot of people ride the sv's on the wera board. must mean something?
-
nothing wrong with icon gear at all.
some people dont want to look boy racer in full leathers going on a sunday ride.
i personally am not goign to be wearing a full leather suit, gauntlet gloves and some horribly uncomfortable race boots to ride in.
Icon makes a great product that is protective, quality, and comfortable, everything i would want for street riding.
im all for being safe and wearing gear, but some of you guys get a little crazy with the full race gear for an afternoon ride.
this is not moto gp, its county roads.
maybe you need better boots? you're in hilliard yes? if you ever wanna try my smx-plus' on a ride shoot me a PM. size US 10.

will they start up the R1 for people?

maybe we should all send this guy an email. imagine 1900+ emails coming in about his stupid advertising.
its not so much he's in flip flops, i could care less, its the fact that he is a stupid marketer. post up the gear and people will want to buy it. more profit.
