  1. maybe you'll get to sleep with the wife too as an added bonus.
  2. it also depends how predictable you are and if you can hold consistent lines.
  3. carousel - double apex turn, first apex is in the grass, just as the curbing starts, and then second apex is right around teh bump area, hold it tight longer through the carousel and square off teh last left turn more onto the front straight for a better drive. front straight - move your braking marker way more forward turn one and chicane - all look good, just carry more speed keyhole - not sure if you went wide because of the guy in front but thats also a double apex, hit that first apex and then let it swing out (avoid the bump on the inside line) get on the gas and bring it back in to hit your second apex on corner exit just like you did backstraight - hit that apex at the kink where the cones are. the esses - this is more preference really, all the ama guys are staying to the left of the center sealer line and holding it tight around turn 7. all in all, you look really good just carry more speed through the turns. if youre holding consistent lines which you seem to be doing based on the vids, get with a coach to see about bumping up to A class. i wouldn't mind having you on the same track as myself.
  4. i haven't seen the show yet, but last time the stig was revealed he was replaced with a new one. maybe the same happens with this guy...
  5. officially IN for the 7th of Sept. i also have reserved a garage, if anyone wants in (Max of 4) post up in the thread. again for the 7th only: - myself - sjc1000rr - scj1000rr's friend (also tentative) - ??? chip in a quarter of the cost of the garage at the event and its your spot.

  7. is that a new(er) paint job? i remember the black/white after the vesrah yellow, but is this like a v2 black/white job? the color splatter on the sides looks very cool. glws man, you looking at a new built litre bike or off the showroom floor and build it up yourself?
  8. im leaning more and more towards the 7th just bc its weekend after i move in to my new apt and i have stuff scattered across cbus in many friends' basements etc... plus i just created a fb event for my friends to come! lol i will probably book by thursday steve, i'll shoot you a text when i do.
  9. it was gravel/sand you didnt see. no big deal. stiffen that front end up big time. not sure why you guys are thinking new tires are slick, one progressively hard left and right turn and they're good for me. i've only run michelins though.
  10. ^Lenz family never asked for a fund. like i said it was setup by three guys who wanted to help but didn't know of any other way.
  11. i hope josh is not making money directly off of this fund, yes maybe indirectly down the road the karma will pay itself. it definitely is helping is image however.
  12. the family never asked for this memorial fund. this was done by three guys (josh herrin, chris kruzel, and mojotown non profit group) so that racers/trackday goers/enthusiasts/people who want to help in some way or another and don't know what they can do to help, have an avenue to channel their support for the kid.
  13. i think what he is saying is to check with uhaul and see when they get rid of their box vans because they would know the limit of their trucks capabilities due to them needing reliability for their customers, not to get them from uhaul.
  14. where do you get a box van? go up to uhaul and say i wanna buy one of your old vans...???
  15. http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Aug/080818j.htm i dont know if the USGPRU is the same as the redbull rookies cup or not...
  16. i do however have some objection with parents who are controlling and living through their kids. from what i remember when i met the lenz family the dad was pretty relaxed and let peter do his thing, never yelled at him or said that he should be on top all the time etc... and just based on what i've read on the wear board, xavier's father was yelling at him for why he crashed on the warm up lap (before finding out what happened to peter). kids already know they've screwed up they don't need the parents putting extra pressure on them to succeed.
