  1. i ride in the middle of the lane when im on my bicycle, i've found riding this way has nearly gotten rid of the close passes where they think they can squeeze between you and that oncoming car on a two lane road.
  2. check out sportbiketracktime.com and also nesba.com grattan, nelson ledges, beaverrun, gingerman, many tracks within a few hours, also mid ohio (separate website: midohio.com or something like that) which is two hours from creek, great track when its dry... and hopefully bluegrass in northern ky... i know there are a few organizations to race that 50, but i can't think of any right now.
  3. contact chris kruzel on the wera board. he has plenty of monster stuff and whatever else your imagination can dream up for your bike. http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=181422 his ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/rsvrrider/m.html?_nkw=&_sacat=0&_sop=16&_odkw=monster&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313 ie: -- yes i know thats the not the exact bike you have.

  8. cashiers check is the same thing as cash because its the bank giving you "cash" not the person. i dont know how a scam can form from that?
  9. man i hate tire kickers, annoying as balls when you're trying to move on another deal.
  10. looking at that site, is it really just 60 dollars to do nelson ledges for one day? is it a fun track? i may look into this pending tire wear.
  11. lol sorry dude. yea i remember you, sorry for the childish act i was just pissed off thanks for getting my camera. i saw there was a kid with you (or a friend?), next time if you see me feel free to come on over and introduce yourself and she can sit on it for pics or whatever. at tbutera
  12. i eeked out $2500 out of my 99 R6, good luck at 3200 but don't get your hopes too high especially when there are newer bikes at that price.
  13. i am very glad i clicked on this thread. something about it just makes me happy. if your friend buys these vortex ones, tell him that they will have to mount below the triple, not on top like the OEM ones are.
  14. good question, maybe contact the mid ohio vendor on here, or give them a call (or your friend) and let them know whats up
  15. don't get brian started on mid oh school lol i really hope they don't let novice/inexperienced riders, i'll have to double check or i'll need to (try) and get my money back.
  16. not being a dick: Saturday, August 21 (Max-Time Twilight) Max-Time Twilight Events: Open to experienced INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED riders. Intermediate riders will take the track for one 15 minute warm up session and then the advanced riders will do the same. Following the warm up sessions, all riders will be on track at the same time for the remainder of the event. Instructors will still be available to assist you at any time and the checkered flag will fly every 1/2 hour to insure that you come into the pits, take a break and get a drink before heading back out for more fun. To enroll in one of these events you should have ridden in intermediate or advanced levels at least 3 times in the past 12 months. This is to make sure you are comfortable riding with intermediate and advanced riders at the same time. These events have a riding start time of 5:00pm and an end time of DUSK. Remember, that means the ending time will vary depending on what month of the year these events are held.
  17. are you sure there is no weight on the wheel? meaning it could be at a slight angle that is prohibiting the removal of the axle. try moving the wheel up and down and pulling out the axle?
  18. damn i thought they had a system in place to monitor experience and deny led's like stt did.
  19. just get with one of the instructors after the first session and ask him to show you around. you might be able to get some more personal instruction with intermediate.
  20. they have copies there for you to sign when you register. don't worry about it.
  21. i will be there this sat for the led as long as its not raining.
  22. i'll be there the 6th or the 7th depending on weather. just relax and have fun, its a good track but technical. id be willing to bet you have trouble with the keyhole and/or carrousel if its your first time.
