  1. btw. its "your," not "you're," or just plain "you," as it is in this case.
  2. i see you've skipped over the people telling you that you don't need a new car. take the 3ish you'll get and buy a used import. yes we like toys, but we also don't use parents money...
  3. haha i wish, no its the guy i bought it from i dont have any pics of my own just yet. so far so good, haven't really gotten to ride it much except for the test ride and to the bank/titling office. i did find out it does 70+ in first gear which is new to me... and the exhaust note sounds like angels are singing in my ear
  4. well (half) gone is the ol 99. Buyer came today and put down half on it to hold the bike until he gets his paycheck or whatever. I also am going to pull the trigger on a stock 07 R6 with very low mileage. I cannot wait to get rid of carbs and step into this EFI world lol i've already started buying stuff for it... here is a pic: i bid you farewell ol steed
  5. here is my opinion because i know IP loves them: you need to buy the chain and sprocket as a package unit. you buy a new chain with old sprockets and the chain will wear faster, or visa versa with new sprockets.
  6. glitchy. i always call anyways and sweet talk my way into a deal or free shipping anyways.
  7. the "conversion" is not final drive ratio, its the change in pitch size like IP said. you have 530 or 532 stock whatever doesn't matter, but you're going to a 520 or 525. You also have the option in this "conversion" to change your gear ratio's, its not an implied change you can have whatever gears you want. also down 1 in the front is up 3 in the rear. don't know what rawlins is talking about, the 520's are plenty strong for 600 power.
  8. sale pending. it'll be a bittersweet day.
  9. yea right, this is a honda site for riders in ohio...
  10. i try and rub elbows with my group mates.
  11. there is no tip over sensor. id be willing to bet the carbs are flooded.
  12. its a one way valve bleeder. so it lets fluid out, but not air in. so when you're bleeding brakes you don't have to pump the lever, open the bleeder, close the bleeder let go of lever, repeat. its just open the bleeder, pump the brakes (slowly) until you don't see any air come out. a good investment on any bike.
  13. idk yet, i haven't bought anything but just basic track stuff. bodywork, clip ons, aftermarket exhaust (maybe, bottom of the list)
  14. yup, 2006+ R6 is going to happen in the next couple weeks.
  15. there is a used bike at a dealer at a price i like if i so choose.
  16. i saw that too, that was pretty cool to see the accel third person, although based on seeing some other things in the video i wonder if that was sped up to make it faster than it actually was...
  17. of course of course, i meant the process of getting it legally in my name.
  18. so what is the procedure for buying a bike these days? it'll be a title in hand only bike, i dont need to deal with that headache alongside schoolwork. bill of sale for each party, go to bank together to get it notarized, fill out title make sure all signatures req'd are there, and go to bmv. yes? forgetting anything?
