Have a Silver Trunk Lid and an OEM Manifold sitting here I would like to move out. I believe these are both from an Evo8. Was the Brother in laws car parts, he sold the Evo asked me to sell this stuff. Deck lid has no spoiler, but does have holes, he bought to make a spoiler-less trunk and it just never happened. Yeah 1-2 was sketchy Abd started getting loose at top. I have video where you can hear it all. It trapped 160 earlier in the day. Last run was on a dark Abd cooling down track.

Good to know. I use DBC myself and I always recoat if I get caught not clearing in time. I'll save material next time if it's a solid.

This was my point, and Im with you guys, you could feather it and clear it but the color could be off in the spots where it peeled from fade and it may not hold a long time, but if youre looking for something on the cheap, this might be the best bet.

Yeah, personally I am very confused on all this mess. I think laws and wording to ALL Laws should have to be written in a way that normal people, with nothing more than a HS education can understand them and be able to make a vote where they understand what they are voting for. In reality, the way laws are written or proposed, IMO, is morally wrong and done so that it only benefits those that can read through the BS if they read it at all. I think reform to make things simpler is really what we need in this country.

Not to mention, most paint has a window of time when the base is applied for the clear to be applied because it chemically bonds with the base layer. If you miss the window, youre told to scuff and respray the base, so with that said....Your window was long gone before that car ever his the showroom when new.

Yeah they have always pushed low money stuff to the back burner only to do big jobs that really seem to never get finished in any decent amount of time yet they wanted absolute top dollar for every bit of work and parts. IMO, if you want top dollar for your services, you provide top notch service, which includes the handling of the customer and smaller jobs as well. Cest la vie....Its been written on the wall for a long time really.
