THe '04 is all but sold.....Either he (the guy with this bike) is gonna work the deal out with me in the morning...Or I have a guy buying it tomorrow night. Either way....It should be gone tomorrow. We are trying to see what kind of response we can get from his bike....Him affording the RR is based off of him selling his bike.

Frame is painted....Swingarm is powdercoated and done by our Own member Just2EZ05. I did almost all of the Body work including the shaving of all Un-neccessary body mount holes, painted all the fairings and I also painted the wheels after a thourough sandblasting. It also Has a 1000RR Solo Cowl and a CarbonFiber Rear Hugger. The chain is off awaiting the new sprocket for the front and rear....also a new chain going in as well. Chain and front sprocket have been in for a week or so...but the damn Aluminum/Steel Hybrid rear sprocket was on backorder and just got shipped today.

Wheels are stock...and you guys have nailed a lot of it. F4i Front Fairings and gauges, 600RR Rear tail on modified F3 Subframe(old F3's are welded not bolted), Racetech Supension....Front and rear, HyperDamper, Yosh Pipe, Stock Wheels done up in GLoss Black. Brand new chain and one of the Hybrid rear sporckets is in the mail. He has had this bike for many years...we have done quite a bit to it including the body swap. Never wrecked, clean title, unsure on the milage but its got a few....It gets ridden. He only wants to sell it to pick up my extra 600RR I have listed for sale.... Its a beast for an F3.....It easily keeps up with out newer 600's and typically he outhandles us in the twisties. The history is in what we have done to get it where it is.....Where it is and whats done....makes it one of a kind....and Special. Well worth the asking price for someone.

I don't have anyones number....Nor do I have texting Capability on my phone(yes I know....Its so 1990). But I dont mind venturing out to unfamiliar roads or places as long as someone knows where we are. And Nick....shit dude...we only live a few streets apart....we should definately ride a lot more often.I don't mind bursts of speed and triple digit running in the right areas.....just cant be doin' balance points down friggin' Dorothy lane..ya know. Thats bad attention right there.

I am always up to ride in the evenings....Pending I dont have any extracurricular work going on after the 9-5. I also like to ride with guys who wont get me nailed by the friendly local police.....or killed by wreckless riding either. Other than that...I will roll anytime. I am located in Belmont near 35 for location reference.

TaKillYa huh.....That makes me slightly aggressive to say the least. I tend to stay away from that particular liquor.....But I do like me some Margarita's!

I have noticed almost all posting and activities for Dayton have died off quickly this season..... I thought with the large Sunday ride that the season would be off to a Boomin' start.....But it seems we have disappeared. Lets get some stuff going on!

Totally not true.....And True at the same time. If he bought it from a dealer in Indy...they should as you say pay that tax to the state of Ohio and should show on your paperwork what tax's were paid. You should not have to pay it again if the correct amount was collected. You might have to go back to the dealer and get the correct paperwork to make this happen..but you should only have to pay whatever your county percentage is....Unless you paid more than that in Indy.....in which case..you will have paid more tax's than you had to.....or should have. I just went through all of this and the dealer I worked with knew exactly what to do....and had you asked..if this was a bigger dealership...they likely would have supplied you with all of the appropriate papers needed. Call the Title Bureau on tuesday and ask them and you should get exactly this answer for the most part. Now..If that dealer does not participate in filing the tax in the appropriate state....I am not sure what can be done. Ohio doesn't care where it comes from...they just want to get paid on every sale. Hopefully this helps...but It should work out for you if this is a reputable and larger dealer.
-
It depends on what rate you paid.....and where you live. You will not have to pay if your Tax rate is the same.....Like say you paid 7% there...and your rate here is 7% as well....the tax has been paid. If you paid only say 6% there...and your county rate is 7% here..you still owe the 1% difference. I just went through exactly this when I bought my truck from a dealer in indiana Last year.

Yup....Cash in my hand while you ride my bike for sale...ITs that simple ...and I always bring a friend....and some heat....just in case. SO I guess that really two friends.

That is an amazing bike....I love the Repsol's. Soo....did you trade in the SV? -
Oh...I forgot to add...I bought another minty fresh rear seat for this thing last week. Now it just has the tiny little scratches on the tail.....The scratch that was on the old seat is gone now.

Thanks for some of the links guys.... I might give the guys at 35 motorsports a call and see what it might run to get done right. Also...Nick....from what I gather from your links...I assume I am close enough on the stock rear spring that it will be OK? Just needs set up properly? And as far as reading....Bah....Thats for the birds. I am not trying to take tests, go to school or educate others....I just want my suspension to work right with me....I don't want to read any novels to get it there. I hate to read....plain and simple. Where the video version or books on tape.....That as close to reading as I will get.
