I know this guy. I worked on a number of his ford super duty trucks he has for his hauling business. Nice guy, and it is an impressive car. Though he has done a lot to it since the last time I talked to him. I think he was only pushing 450ish hp at that time.

Before starting I would also put a mark on the bottom of the dist, and a corisponding mark on the block.This will show you where everything was when you started just in case you want to stock.

Does the car have power brakes? I wouldnt think it would be to likely to happen if it did. My camaro's master cylinder did, but it is manual brakes. Theres nothing between the cylinder and the fire wall. Yes it is possible, would have to see car to say for sure.
