    sv's

Love my SVs! The sv650 is a great choice for commuting and for the weekend fun rides. Another bonus, cheap insurance.
  2. Most active or prior can answer those (excluding the salesmen, I mean recruiters).
  3. It's one of my favorites. It can never replace a good IPA but it always has a place in my fridge. The biggest appeal for the love of Yuengling......nostalgia, and the fact that IT'S NOT SOLD here(low supply-high demand). Living out East it was just another beer at the liquor store, but here it becomes a link to the past. Nothing washes a good cheese steak down better:D. I'm lucky to get some once or twice a year when I travel so it would be good thing for it to come out this way. There was talk a few years ago about them expanding distribution rights to Ohio but it was stopped somewhere in the process.
  4. Sorry to hear about this.
  5. Use 6" threaded "eye bolts". Find the rafters with a stud finder or look for the drywall screw indention. Drill a pilot, screw one bolt per rafter. Attach a chain with small D-rings. At this point I attach a come-a-long to a tow strap and ratchet it up. I'm done with the come-a-long till my next project so you're welcome to it. PM me.
  6. Glad to have met you!

  7. It was nice to everyone again and meet some new cool people! Nice place too.
  8. Interesting points. It is definitely a matter of personal choice and what makes you feel secure. Personally, I choose to carry conceal. I think by carrying in the open you may deter the opportunistic criminals but not those that have a strong intent on committing a crime. That is when you become the first target to neutralize. On that note, open carry would prove to be an effective deterrent if the majority of the population would open carry. I probably would remove myself from society if that happens, thanks to all the unstable people on mood stabilizing drugs.
  9. The bike is out of hibernation and ready to move. I will be there!
  10. Who is the brave one that has been parking the red scooter in the garage? Even though it's too cold/wet/icy etc.. I still look over at the bikes(or lack of).

I work in the Immunology lab at the Medical Center let me know if you need a contact for your Dissertation.

  11. (fizzer)

Yeah, that's mine. What do you do at the medical center?

  12. Enjoy the .357 magnum! You will have to join me in on one of the many rides to Hocking Hills:D
  13. This is too heavy to be a carry piece, trust me. Also it doesn't hide well on my 5'7" frame.
  14. I am in the market for a concealed carry and need some extra cash for the purchase. I hate to sell this because it is a fine gun to shoot and to have for home protection. Purchased new in 2004 and I have probably fired less than 400 rounds through it. Asking $325. Here's what the new owner gets, everything: Uncle Mike's holster 80 rounds of 38 Special ammo Cable lock and hammer lock keys Two speed loaders
  15. Nice to see all of you out and about The riding was good as usual down in Hocking!!
  16. Medically speaking, you have my interest. After numerous "case studies", real life medical mysterious intrigue me. Hope your up for the ride!
  17. I'm in for this. This ought to be a fun scenic ride, more emphasis on the fun part!!
  18. Solution: I'm usually against outsourcing American jobs, but... in this case we should send this piece of shit and all of his kind to China. They send them to "labor camps" to never be seen again. Speculation is that they just take them to a field and put a round in them. Either way is good for me. The other option is to let the victims' family decide his fate, a fate he must accept. I would certainly suggest the family do the exact same thing to him. Beat him, rape him, strangle him and torch him. I can't stand the argument that the death penalty is "cruel and unusual" punishment. This is my nerve getting hit......
  19. Glad to hear it. I have to keep explaining it to people, which is probably a good thing that most people I know never had to sit through the Rorshach test. I do expect fans of Watchmen to get it though.
  20. We rescued another dog a few weeks ago. Another sad case of abuse and neglect from the lower ranks of society. He will have a much better life now. I named him Rorshach...
  21. Here is picture of said midget: She was a celebrity and a freak show. Honestly, I had no relations with the lady. But had to take a picture of her, memories fade...
  22. I guess I may have to take down the pictures of me in the mirror in my shorts. Got to keep it clean for the OR peeps facebook.com/brian.goldenbaum
  23. I've found myself preaching mandatory helmet use while riding but fall short convincing the die hards. The arguments against helmet use are the same; government meddling and "if I go down I want to go quick". I usually don't have much of a rebuttal after that except the potential risk of being in a vegetative state after a minor low speed crash+head into curb. That's when I give up, "to each their own" and don't go down near me.
