  1. Welcome and hello.

  2. Welcome back! Thank you for your service.
  3. Looking for restaurant suggestions? Today is my wife's birthday and also the perfect opportunity for us to go riding. I want to take her someplace nice not too far from Pickerington. She is still a new rider and doesn't like to travel far. We are still new to the area and have yet to explore. Scenic route will be a bonus:smile:.
  4. Chain is done thanks to Justin and his chain tool! Thanks again for the help.
  5. Well then, call me when you get a minute. PM sent.
  6. I have everything done except the rivet part. I don't have a press tool so I've attempted a DIY c-clamp and flange pin. So far I can't get the pins to flare out. The last thing I want to do is use a hammer and punch to do it. All suggestions welcome, except for buying a rivet tool.
  7. Anyone near Pickerington want to lend me a hand? I need to replace my chain and sprockets and this will be a new experience for me. It doesn't seem too difficult but I would prefer to have someone who has done it before give me a hand so I don't jack anything up. I should also mention that I don't have a chain break tool or a rivet press (I think a c-clamp would work???). I do have all the hand tools needed. If anyone has a couple of hours to spare later this afternoon to play instructor/mechanic I'd appreciate it greatly. I live off of Refugee near 256. Thanks
  8. I had to go out of town for work in S.F. but it turned out to be nothing I thought it would be. I spent more time on "business" lunches and trips to Napa Valley for wine than actual "work". Instead of flying back to Ohio at the end of the week I took a flight to L.A. to meet up with some friends who I haven't seen in years. They hooked me up with a GSXR and gear and set me loose up the mountains and then to the beach. Enjoy the view! These are from my ride through the San Bernadino mountains. Laguna Beach S.F. O.C. (Disneyland) Rubicon Winery (Napa)
  9. Nice to know another buckeye is in the neighborhood! I was in Benicia and S.F. till Friday, now I'm down in Chino till Monday. Today I spent the day riding the mountains of San Bernadino! I'm just winging it out here, no plans really. Thinking about downtown L.A. tomorrow. Pics to come... Food: Have some avacado on your burger!
  10. Welcome! Having his and hers SV's in the garage is a beautiful thing!
  11. You are the poster child for adapting and overcoming!
  12. Few reasons. Kids want a neighborhood so they can play with someone other than each other. I am burned out doing hours and hours of yard work. Sick of digging out after every snow fall. Mostly I think we are just due for a change.
  13. Melrose Subdivision, East I think.
  14. You are gonna love the sv. Nimble and light. It is also not so intimidating, so the woman won't have any fear to ride it.
  15. After nearly 12 months on the market our house is contract and closing March 30th. We are trading the country life for one in suburbia. We are buying a house in Pickerington right off Refugee rd. It will be a welcome change.

You can find a picture of it here, right along side the rest. http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=17661&highlight=threat+eliminator&page=6

$275 obo. I still have everything that came with it. It has probably fired about 300 rounds. Only 50 of them were .357 magnum, the rest were 38 target load.

If interested, I have a Taurus 65 4 inch barrel, blue. -.357 magnum. +Ammo. It will shoot 38 Special or 357 magnum. I wanted to trade it in for a semi-auto but I will get burned on the trade in. There is a picture of it on here, somewhere, when I posted a feeler for it. It's fun to shoot and accurate.
  19. When is a free tv not free? When it stops working and needs to be fixed. It was given to me a few months ago and worked for about 2 weeks and the picture went stupid. It appears to be scrambled. I thought I would spend the time and replace the hyper module board (as this is the common downfall on this type of tv and the most likely culprit) but I don't really have the time to monkey with it. It does have a DVI input if you wish to use a media pc to run it. The dvi bypasses the hyper module board. If anyone wants it you are welcome to it. Tomorrow it is going on CL. I am also giving away two sofas, 92" long. My house is going back on the market and I need this stuff gone. I don't have a truck or know anybody with one so you are on your own as far as moving this stuff. I live in Sunbury, 5 miles from I-71. 2003 Toshiba 42 inch HDTV, rear projection. Sofa #1 (#2 is exactly the same minus cover)
  20. Feel like I have to take a shot here. I was reading some HD posts on Ebaums about a sport bike crash and they were bashing the rider with all the typical names up to/and including the "pile of plastic" comment. So I take great joy and reading this gem of an assessment of the HD rider. http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/sfo/1353199509.html
  21. True story. Ever thought about where your body goes when you donate it to science. It doesn't always end up on a table for a bunch of students to dissect. Apparently there is a need to test NASA's new space suit for impact! What better way then to stuff a human corpse in it. Had to share that strange but true story. I read this off the order requisition for a cadaver test panel. I guess NASA wanted to make sure he was free from Hepatitis and HIV before they began to beat the hell out of him. Impact testing? Push him out the door at 50mph? I can almost picture it as a "mascot" sitting in their break room. WTF?
