  1. Fill the tank to full to cut down on condensation, at fuel stabilizer, (makes starting hell of a lot easier after the bike has sat for months, and no smoke), attach battery tender, call it a day.
  2. I'll most likely go. Just hope the phark'n snow and ice is gone by then so I can take the bike
  3. Installing the cabinets on top of the finished floor is the proper way. This allows for the finished counter height to be correct. Otherwise, the counter height from the finished floor would be off by the thickness of flooring materials, and if you ever decided to replace the counters you would have to build up the base of the new cabinets... That being said, You car rent a U-haul open trailer w/sides for about 20 bucks/day. If you know someone w/decent sized yard, you can just take it to their place to have a bon fire with.
  4. Tooooo cool. I have a list of crap needing chromed
  5. I've had Vonage for my home phone and fax line for 4 years now. Fax line gets heavy usage as it is for business. Never had an issue. Not to mention that approximately 75% of all large business (corporate America) has been running VOIP for their main lines and fax lines for quite some time now.
  6. battery tender will charge dead battery as long as the battery doesn't have a damaged cell. Buy a tender, plug in and leave plugged until you're ready to ride
  7. That pretty much is the same as spitting in the face of the victim's family!
  8. you'll get the current deposit rate when you return the keg, so you double your money!
  9. Denatured alcohol works well as a cleaner w/out leaving residue.

  11. Didn't start riding the bike until late March, but racked up 4500 for 2008
  12. Have they released whether or not they were wearing helmets? Kinda sounds like the pilot had a helmet and passenger didn't
  13. It's not likely he'll be able to sell it. Right now Harley has a promotion going that if you buy any new Sportster now, you can trade up in a year and get the full original MSRP as your trade in value on a new bike.
  14. In all my years of riding, that was the first time EVER that I got on a bike w/out a helmet. I was just going a mile down the road to get something to eat, and got hit at exactly .9miles!!!
  15. gotta get heated hand grips
  16. same incident. Dude making right turn on red got me high side, as I was braking to avoid being hit the car behind me was nice enough to give me a push to be sure I got hit. Shattered right side of face & right arm. 20 screws and 5 plates in face, 15" ROD and 20 screws in right arm.
  17. 1) this is Columbus, always shit on the roads 2) amazing, somehow all of Europe manages to ride year round even in sub freezing temps w/little incident. Guess they have those "special" tires only available in Europe 3) I was hit by two cars in broad daylight on a clear, sunny, 95 degree day in May. Guess bikes shouldn't be on the roads in May either in Ohio.
  18. in summary, don't tell her.
  19. This is your safety and very could be a life & death decision you're making here. What would the cost be for Scotts to service? You're saving about $160 by buying used, but if it's gonna cost you close to that to have it serviced you're better off buying new.
  20. don't ask don't tell. If she asks the direct question of whether or not you got a raise, then give her a direct answer (yes). Don't surrender info about money to a girlfriend EVER.
  21. shouldn't need any thing other than lights, signals, mirror, brake lights, speedo. Full doors are a non issue unless all those soft top Jeeps are illegal. Gurantee you can get tags on a Rhino
  22. Headed out to the Pony about 15:00, poked around there for an hour then got back home around 18:00. Good ride, pretty good amount of bikes on road.
