I have a buddy that keeps getting viruses. He has no idea how he gets them, but I think it might be his wife or his son and the "System Security" scans that they probably do.

I agree with you, for the most part. I guess the point is that the rules and regulations need to be looked at. If they have something stating that a nurse can search if prescriptions are said to be on student, then that is something that some people may feel to challenge. Remember that we have rules because something has already happened. Until they happen, no one knows the outcome of these rules.

So a nurse at the school wouldn't be enough for you to be comfortable with?

Who did the search? Was it the nurse? Teacher? Assistant teacher? Cafeteria lady? Janitor? Who performed the search?

Difference between drugs and guns? Both kill people. It's cool... I can't wait until can't fart without getting arrested, because someone gets offended.

What would you say if your kid was shot to death, because the school went with the "no frisk" option? Something could have been prevented, but people like you keep changing the world to be so politically correct.

Like I said before... A pat-down would have been enough. You are right though... A search of any kind without the parent being there is not a good idea.

I known people who use to make straight As and sell drugs at school. Does their grades say that they are not drug dealers? Does it matter if they are male or female? If they sold all their other drugs and all they are caught with are vitamins... Does that not make them a drug dealer? So if we established that any color, sex, age, or education can be a drug dealer... What would you do to catch them? If your daughter was selling drugs at school and this happened to her, you would be pissed, right? What if she sold drugs and they caught her only after someone overdosed and died? Now your daughter is locked away and you are being sued for everything you own. Would you still be pissed that they strip searched your daughter? I know there are some LEOs on here... I'd like to hear what they have to say about this.
