    Watchmen

The movie didn't look all that good from the one trailer I saw. If people say it's good, then I'll probably go see it.
  2. WWIII, when Russia tries to take over the US.

    Tazer

Yeah, I started thinking about that. In all seriousness... The tasers use a pulse technology that immobilizes your muscles. These pulses are designed in a way to only effect certain muscles and not critical ones, such as your heart. Yes you can place one at your feet and one in your shirt pocket and get the snot knocked out of you. (That's pretty much were mine were at when I got hit) If they said it would work if they were seperated further than 4 inches and it didn't (in the field) they would get sued. I'm still not sure how it can work from such a large distance, but trust me... It does.
  4. Lets say this does pass... Who will be the poor saps that will have to go retrieve the firearms?

BTW, I'm not really an asshole, I just play one on the IN73RW3BZ.

Did you also read that the probes can go through 2 inches of thick clothing and still get a good ground?

So you DID have to look it up? It's all good. Here's another question for you to ponder... They have darts with 30' wires. Do you think their spread at 30' will be only 4"? Next caller...

    Tazer

That's funny, because while you are still learning the fundamentals of electrical theory, I'm ALREADY a journeyman electrician. Not only that, but I'm also certified with a Taser. But since you are still in school, I'm sure you already know that it doesn't matter how far the probes are placed? Also, since you are so well versed with the Taser, can you tell me what the Taser sends to the probes/clips to induce the shocking effect, without looking it up?

Trust me, the clips hurt just as bad. If you knew how the tazer works, you would know.

    Tazer

I've been hit with the tazer a time or two. I can attest that it is NOT fun. Though I'd MUCH rather get hit with the law enforcement 5 second ride than get hit with the civilian version for the 30 second ride.
  11. I recant. It doesn't matter what calibre you go with. Just practice like there is no tomorrow. That is the best way to stop the deadly threat... Shot placement.
  12. I want a full sized 1911. A buddy of mine was telling me that I can get a replica of the old school military 1911 really cheap from some place. Bottom line is that if you are going to use a gun for CCW, don't buy a gun based on how much it will cost to go to the range. Buy a gun based on the fact that your life might depend on it.
  13. Let me add something... The reason why 9mm isn't the best is because it has a small bullet, as you all know. The bullet is pointer than a 40 or 45. I'd say that a hollow point 9mm would do less damage than a FMJ 40, if shot in the same exact spot. (Not vital location)
  14. Ok, maybe I didn't word that correctly... What I SHOULD have said is that it is a LOT harder to stop the deadly threat with a 9mm than with a larger calibre weapon. You can stop someone with a .22 if placed correctly. But when bullets start flying around, shot placement becomes sporadic. I know MANY people that have shot criminals with 9mm and it didn't stop them. (Not saying that it won't, it's just that they didn't hit the 'correct' spots) ALL of them are now carrying .40s. You can buy what you want, but I do not trust my life to a 9mm pistol. Sorry for the confusion in my previous post.
  15. OOOOOKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY... Yall crack me up. If you only knew... *sigh*
  16. A buddy of mine go into a shootout with a couple of thugs... He hit one guy 2 or 3 times with his 9mm & the guy didn't even flinch. Moreover, the guy got away. They caught him because he went to the hospital a few hours later.
  17. My only question is why would anyone think that a 9mm is going to stop the threat?
  18. I'm pretty sure they have exactly one year to file a suit against you. If it is over a year, it might get thrown out on that basis.
  19. That's freaking awesome!
  20. Welcome to the site. Throw up some pics of the bike.
  21. Welcome to the site. Got any pictures of the bike?
  22. Payback is a bitch! Literally in this case.
  23. How long has it been since you had a tetanus shot? I would have gone to the hospital. Just to make sure you don't need stitches or anything. You think it's no big deal and it heals incorrectly and you can't ride a bike from then on... GO TO THE HOSPITAL!
  24. Ok... just because the company says it's 99.9% efficient, that doesn't mean it actually is. (Not saying it isn't) But I think I'm still back at square one, unless this 99.9% efficiency is confirmed.
  25. Ok, we've determined that the foam filters are better, but is the Yamaha filter considered a foam filter? At this point, I'm confused as to which filter I should get for my oil change coming up.
