  1. Original maps so they are from 2008 or something. Not sure how to tell a date though.
  2. Few years old, comes with suction cup windshield mount and car charger. http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVIC-S1-3-5-Inch-Bluetooth-Navigator/dp/B000FTOEEE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313018413&sr=8-1 The battery doesn't hold a charge but it works fine as long as it's plugged in. I'm just selling it because I haven't used it in the past couple of years since I just use my phone for GPS now. $45 obo
  3. Yeah, I can't wait for this weekend. It definitely sucks that it's the same weekend as the race at Mid-Ohio, I really wanted to go to that too...
  4. I got in on Google+, it's pretty cool but needs more people! Just like the Android OS, it's awesome because it integrates with all your other Google stuff

  6. I don't know if Ben's allowed to go to Rule 3 for birthdays anymore. I remember last time....I think someone ended up running down the mini bowling lane
  7. it was a good time, glad to see everyone again! Didn't hurt that our team won
  8. I was just going to copy and paste that.
  9. Also, I only see one port. Where is the high side port?
  10. OK, so I did notice a slight haziness inside the truck but thought I was just seeing things because there wasn't much light. I don't see anything leaking under the dash.
  11. So, how do I determine if it's the evaporator?
  12. I agree. I was watching the gauge and it never really went up that far and after each can was empty it slowly but steadily dropped back down to nothing. I went out there just now and used a punch to push in the pin on the low side valve to see if I could let some out and nothing came out whether the truck was running or not, whether the low pressure switch was jumped or not. Seems as though it's not keeping pressure, indicating a leak still I suppose, unless I'm just doing something wrong. The fact that I replaced the low pressure switch (it was pretty bad) and the compressor still doesn't turn on without me jumping it also indicates that. :/ gay.... I'd like to have this fixed before Thursday morning as I have to drive it to South Carolina and back to help my sister move
  13. 96 Chevy 2500HD (4.3L V6 from a 1500 though) AC blows warm air The AC compressor only comes on when I jump the low pressure switch. I've charged it with like 3 of those R134a cans but no luck. I replaced the low pressure switch and after putting the last can in, I see a little bit of something dripping from what looks like an overflow tube underneath the AC accumulator coming out of the firewall. The fluid is a little oily and I suppose it could be the R134a fluid stuff but the overflow tube comes out of the firewall and I can't tell where it's coming from. I assume I have a leak somewhere but I'm not sure where or how to find it. Any help?
  14. That's not the first time it's happened this year. Another homeowner foreclosed on a Wells Fargo bank in Feb http://consumerist.com/2011/02/how-this-philly-homeowner-foreclosed-on-wells-fargo.html
  15. ^this I agree, just charge whatever it costs for the plates. No, I don't think front plates look nice, but it does help catch criminals. At worst, charge at cost and allow us to take it as a tax deduction and people will get over it.
  16. yeah.......... they really rapped about her buying summer's eve at wal-mart....
  17. Today I had a person cut me off by turning left to get in front of me. I slowed down when I caught up to them and was kind of annoyed, but whatever. Then they start turning around looking at me, yelling something. The backseat passenger (with a 10 yr old kid next to her - excellent role model) leaned outside the window yelling and flipping me off and then flicked her cigarette at me. I shrugged it off after they turned off. People are stupid and immature
  18. krystyn is awesome, i'll let you know when i get it from them Good to know, I'll add it to the list to check.
  19. Good point on the airbags. I'll try to find that out. I believe it will give that information in a carfax report but I'd like to avoid the $35 if I can. Honda would never certify a car with a rebuilt title but I just took it to mean that a dealership went over the car and couldn't find anything wrong with it, so that's a good thing.
  20. That makes sense. I thought the same thing about it being salvaged for what sounds like a fender bender. Not really sure if I could find out if that's the truth or not via CarFax but they seem like cool people and it passed Honda inspection
  21. My current bike is a rebuilt title so I'm not completely against salvage or rebuilt titles, but just seeing if anyone else has any comments on experiences they've had. The car I'm looking at is an 09 Civic Hybrid. OK now, that we're past the Civic and hybrid jokes, it was declared rebuilt after replacing the hood, front bumper, driver side fender and headlight. It went through a Honda 100 point inspection and passed just fine. Retail is around $22k with the options it has (leather, navi, etc) with 17k miles on it, they are asking $14,400. The obvious con is that although it is new, the warranty is voided by the rebuilt title. What else?
