  1. I'm going on 24 hours right now..... and I have at least two more hours before I can even leave work to head home. I hate this shit. I need a new job.

damn man...i fell your pain, we have had some issues at work too, was here for about 40 hours the last time with a couple 20min power naps.

    i hate that shit!!!

  2. got it all installed Saturday! only issue was it being a pain in the ass to get to the hex bolt that held the clamp on the rear header. I have a nice set of T-handled hex wrenches and they weren't long enough!! so I ended going to buy a set of hex sockets, but at least i have those now too...

...and damn the bike sounds fucking wicked!!! went on a cruise around town to 'break' it in a bit :D

pics can be seen here: http://www.ohio-riders.net/album.php?albumid=163

  3. yeah exactly... vickers was trying to block him and push him down in the grass... what do you think is gonna happen

i was pissed that it rained, but its cool for kenseth.

:plus1: vickers was the one that pushed jr. down to start with, he was just getting back on the track

  4. Nimbus is EXPENSIVE. I think we paid around $75k for our setup. We monitor 100+ Windows servers, 5 AIX servers, and a hand full of Linux servers, plus the Oracle and SQL servers.

    daaaamn!!

yeah i think i will stick with nagios.....

we monitor about 100 different hosts including servers, routers, etc...and about 300 services (disks, pings, memory, etc) it works great for what we need.

  5. We don't want to keep copies. We use Nimbus for statistics tracking. This is just to send a daily report. We have a problem with disks filling up. This is the Oracle box, so archive logs have a tendency to get a bit out of hand when huge batch jobs are ran. This script is just to alert us of the disks running out of space. We have alerts set at 90% and 95%, but this script will give us more of a heads up. I have it running at 7a every day so it'll be in my email when I get to work. You're idea would be great if we weren't already using Nimbus.

dude you should use nagios (http://www.nagios.org/) to monitor all of that. You can setup different services to check a million different things, then page/email you if something were to go down.

...but you would need to either install on that server or get a separate one to run it, it also has a few third party web interfaces that are great for configuring it if you dont want to keep editing files.

    ...its a great app!

  6. I'm not exactly sure. I think they are ll the same from 04- 08. Minus the ABS and 03 has a higher sub frame. I would call and make sure. If they can't give you a definitive answer call Ron Ayers or Oneida. Being Suzuki oem dealers they may have the best answers for you.

    sweet thanks!
