Can't find a good stock seat for a reasonable price so I ordered a cover kit. Pre-shaped cover made for the bike out of marine grade vinyl. Any tips or suggestions out there? Any tips or suggestions out there?Get a staple gun, a tablet, and a beer helmet. Watch the howto video on the tablet while you stretch and staple the shit out of the seat with the gun. Kent2406 Posted March 18, 2013 Report Share Posted March 18, 2013 Just finished my seat this past weekend. Added gel/memory foam. One thing that helps stretch the vinyl is heating it up a little. I just held it in front of my garage heater for 30 sec. at a time to stretch the area I was working with. I'm sure a hair dryer would work just fine.
