Hope you are right, but I put little faith in the corrupt and agenda driven system anymore. Our leader is a globalist, and us becoming like other countries is what he wants. We have allot of spineless officials on both sides, they are more swayed by emotions and people control than anything else. Their hand is forced to do something, but that something will do nothing but affect those that should not be affected.

The compromise originally had ccw reciprocity, but that was dropped. I could live with background checks in exchange for reciprocity. But alas...

So where us the compromise? The grabbers want background checks on private sales. The compromise includes that. So where is the consideration that gun owners would get? Compromise is give & take, not take and take.

They'll compromise. They'll only make you pay half as much for the background check as they wanted but will later raise the amount 100 times as the money is diverted for other programs with feel good labels.
