I'm hosting a Poker Run to benefit the American Legion Auxiliary Children & Youth in Fairborn on Saturday May 18th. We will start & end at the American Legion in Fairborn (526 Legion Lane, Fairborn, 45324). The ride will be from 1 - 5pm with last bike out at 3pm. At the conclusion of the ride there will be 50/50, a raffle, pizza ($9 - 12.50), and drinks (pop, beer, pitchers, & mixed drinks). If you pre-register, it's $15 per hand and $5 each additional hand (day of = $20 & $10). You can pre-register by replying to this post, messaging me, or e-mailing me at carriecherman@yahoo.com. Feel free to use any of those means to ask questions as well! Hope to see you there! :D

I am the husband. I joined last year after I lurked for a good while.

I didn't have much time to post last year after I joined due to a very hectic work schedule and finding out our first child is on its way!:D

She has been working to put this together for quite some time and just wanted to extend the invitation to everyone in the Dayton area. I suggested she post something here as it would be a good way to reach the best audience. This is the only forum on which it has been posted.

I will be helping out and riding the route to support any riders / drivers that may need assistance. We are donating our time to make this happen for the American Legion. :)

And yes, she does ride! She took over my Ninja EX500 so I went out and bought a CBR 954RR last fall just a few weeks before we found out we were expecting...

Yeah, no rubbing.

I've worked with many enginerds. Work around Dayton?

I work in Miamisburg at the old Huffy building (a test of your local business knowledge!:D). We might be moving to the Chicago area in the new future. My division got sold off last November and if I want to keep my position, we have to move.

I will try to keep the rubbing to absolute minimum! :D

I'd just look for a new job if I had to move to Chicago. I always see engineer positions around here on Indeed.com.

Normally I would agree with you. However this opportunity may really be worth it. It's on the north side so we could live in WI.
