Uncle Punk
http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2013/04/24/ohio-senate-moving-forward-on-outlawing-internet-cafes/Fucktards want to kill business and a tax base. I can't figure the angle for such stupidity. I voted against the casinos every time they were on the ballot not because I didn't want them here but I didn't want to vote for a limited number of them. Let investors decide to take a chance and put money into the state not protected monopolies that lobby as special interests.
ReconRat
Not internet cafes in general, I think. The illegal gambling centers. That's the target anyway."ban on the unregulated sweepstakes operations""House Bill 7, which would essentially outlaw Internet cafes, or sweepstakes parlors, by capping prizes and banning cash giveaways"edit: And yes, I think the pressure is coming from "legitimate" gambling casinos. Tonik
I am ok with keeping them, but they need to be regulated the same way casinos are. That means backgroung checks for all the employees, licensing for the employees and the same rules, regulations and oversight that the casino's have. But that is undo-able. The amount of State manpower to monitor them would be insane.
