baggyp Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 Ever since I went to the Yamaha ride at the Iron Pony and rode the R1 I have wanted one. I have recently found one locally for a decent price. It is at a stealership so I would have to trade my bike in (per the Mrs.) and take a $ hit, which I'm kinda okay with. One of my concerns are I'm 6'2" 255 and I upgraded my current suspension in the front, not yet the rear, to accommodate my size. How is the R1 for larger riders? Any of my larger people ride one? How are the stock adjustments for my weight, could I use them or would I have to re-spring everything? I know from an accessory standpoint, there's a ton!!! I'm worst than a girl in Claire's when it comes to accessories!!! I should be good there!! Anything anyone (good or bad) that you can let me know I would be grateful!! P.S.
