AndrewByrd963
Hello fellow riders! In September 2013, I will be taking a 10 day, 10,000 mile journey around the United States on my Kawasaski Concours 14 to raise awareness and support for Kids ‘n Kamp. Kids ‘n Kamp is an independent, nonprofit organization that serves as a lifeline of support for children and their families touched by childhood cancer. I know first hand the kind of impact this organization provides, as they loved and supported my family during my son’s battle with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. Thankfully my son is now cancer free. Now, it’s my turn to give back to the organization that has given so much to so many. If you’re interested in donating to my journey or learning more about Kids ‘n Kamp, please click here: http://bit.ly/1150fbs Thank you! 2talltim
Great cause but you will need $3000 minium just to cover cost for a trip like that. So far you only have $825 donated. Dont get me wrong i know what you are trying to do but i dont see the point when you can simply donate the money you would have spent doing the trip, (IF) equal or more monies are not raised. All the same good luck and ill throw some coin your way when i get my big OT check in a couple weeks. P.S... i hope you figured in at least one tire and oil change along the way
Earache
10 1k days in a row? Yeah, that's a bit ambitious. If you're a seasoned long distance rider, then it shouldn't be too bad, Still gonna suck though.Like 2Tall said; gonna need an oil change and some tires along the way. It'd be cheaper if you arrange the tire change at a cheap place and then send the tires ahead via Motorcycle Superstore. Looks for their preferred installers on the website if you don't know of a anyone that'll do the work. It';ll save ya $100 or so on a tire change. Habi
I actually have a copy of your card in my hand from my old man at Quality Automotive. Thought your name was familiar. Good luck and be careful.
