max power
Going to topsail in a couple weeks. Outer Banks it's more expensive.

nautical1
Go to Top Sail for a more relaxed and desolate vacation, OBX if you want to do some tourist stuff and do some shopping. Top Sail is cheaper, especially for beach front places if you're outside of town. But expect to cook more often or drive further for food on Top Sail. I've been going down there for 20 some years and both are nice, it just depends what you're wanting to do.

C-bus
Used to go to OBX every summer. About four years ago, we arrived at our $3000 per week right-on-the-beach house to find that every morning at about five AM a group of about 20 baby-fucking-boomers would cut through our yard and set up a tent about ten yards in front of the house. After a week of confrontations, pissing matches, and sabotage, I vowed never to return. The tourists have over run the banks.
