2talltim
Bought my Nolan N90 a couple months ago and it's supposed to have a anti fog shield on it well once the temps got below 50 in the mornings it is basicly rubbish. The Nolans have Pinlock visors on them so for $20 for a pinlock lens i thought i would give it a go. And HOLY CRAP! why didnt i do this sooner, it was 43 and foggy as hell when i left work this morning and with the pinlock lens my commute was perfectly clear. So i will never buy another helmet with out it. For those that dont know what pinlock is here you go. http://pinlockusa.net/ http://www.revzilla.com/product/hjc-hj-09-pinlock-lens#%5B1850%5DECC9HtRGVmM Edited September 18, 2013 by 2talltim
Connie14
I couldn't agree more. I bought a Nolan N104 a couple of years ago, and it has the Pinlock visor. I don't get a foggy visor ever.
jdonn
Sucks - Bell RS-1 doesn't have a OEM pinlock. They do however have this http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bell-snow-double-shield-kit-for-vortexrs-1star Wonder how well it works. Reviews seem good
8Rider6
I love the Pinlock on my HJC. That's my only complain so far about my Bell RS-1. I have the photochromatic visor for it which I love in general, but in cold weather, it sucks. I may consider getting the winter "kit" for the RS-1 as it includes a double pane visor. I know there are Fog City inserts you can get for any helmet, but I'm not sure if they work as well.
Casper
I've been preaching Pinlock for a few years. Won't ride without it again.
Bad324
my next helmet shall definitely have pinlock. Probably should look into getting a new one this off season
Mary#17
Hmm. I haven't tried mine yet on my GT-Air. I'll have to check it out.
