Designed to fit any suit, the Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit keeps your expensive leathers safe from the elements. This waterproof suit is constructed from thermoplastic polyurethane that is taped and sealed at the seams. Stretch inserts in the sleeves, sides, crotch, knees and backs of the legs mean that it doesn’t restrict your movement while you’re shifting position on the bike. While this may sound like standard fare for rain gear so far, the Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit does have a few features that put the “racing” in its name. Kneeslider cutouts, a pocket for the back up, and a pre-curved shape make it ready for race duty.

Each leg features a cutout for the knee slider so that you can still get your knee down without worrying about burning through the waterproof material. Elastic bands surround the cutout to keep it in place.

 

 

The Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit is a two-piece meaning that you can wear the top on its own. In order to keep the top from riding up at the back, Alpinestars sewed in a very lightweight, flexible piece of stretch material. This goes between the legs and and attaches to velcro patches on either side of the zipper at the front to keep everything comfortably in place.
