Hey guys, new here. I ride a scooter (pauses, waits for the laughing to stop) but seriously, its a 600cc 2006 Honda SilverWing, it'll hold its own on the road, trust me. I ride with a friend who has a Harley and some other friends that have motorcycles, I find myself more comfortable riding with motorcycles rather than other scootrists cause the bike is so damn fast and big compared to other scooters. You'll probably see me every Wed night @ QSL this summer! Here is a pic of it alongside a bunch of Harleys at GasWerks last summer...

Hello guys, new here, name is David. I'm ridin a maxi-scooter, a 2006 Honda Silverwing, before you laugh to hard let me just say it'll hold is own on the road, I've had up to about 108mph on 270 one night, still had throttle left, just ran into some traffic and had to drop it down. From the front it looks like a sport bike, most other bikers can't tell the difference unless you see it from the side.

Here are some pics of it...

Hey David, I just bought the 2008 motocycle buyer's guide in the grocery store today. I saw your scooter in it. It sounds like it flies for a scooter.

That is does. I'm anxious for some really nice weather so I can take it somewhere remote and actually find out what it'll top out at. Thats the damn first question people ask when you tell them you have a scooter.

Its not what you ride, its THAT you ride. welcome.

:D Thanks. I've only been riding since last August but I really enjoy it, I wasn't fully licensed until late in the year so I'm very anxious for the nice weather to settle in so I can do some actual riding outside of the immediate area!
