It was always carried in a generic case (not included). Used on those occasions not appropriate for my DSLR (or when I didn't feel like lugging it around like on the bike for instance). Excellent in low light. The lens has no scratches and is very sharp. It comes with all original items. If you check reviews on this camera, it's one of the best P&S cameras you can buy and I paid ~$600 new (demand was super high and premiums were being asked).
