Any classic car buffs want to check out a car for me?

It's a 68 Firebird that is supposed to be numbers matching which really doesn't matter all that much to me if it isn't as I plan an ls1 swap

It's in Lewis Center and I'm told it's a driver but from the pics it appears to have more rust than what he relayed to me as an issue. With everything going on with work and my wedding in 3 weeks, I don't have the tome to make multiple trips. If anyone who know cars well and is willing to check it out and give me a report on it that would be amazing! Thanks

You are going to ruin a numbers matching 68 firebird by swapping out the motor? I hate you.

Not necessarily now that I've found out it only has 57k miles on it and the shape the body is in and needing wheels. From the pics I figured it had 3x the miles on it

If it turned out to not be numbers matching, then I would likely go on with plan LSx

Stop. Continue shopping find a solid roller and do whatever you want to it. You will be money ahead not having to fix rust.

But then again I don't know what your plans are for it.

I can, just going to be tough this week but I am off next week and actually believe my dad who has 2 restores will be in town next week a few times too if you'd like.  Like I said, I can't get to it until next week, but if that works I can do it.

PM me if interested with a number I will call you and get info on exactly what you want.  And yeah, I know classics, muscles, etc.
