blueskeyes
Just adjust your preload and damping.
Tonik
Or buy a cruiser with a big fairing, windshield and lowers. Like I suggested about 10 posts ago.
max power
I see both sides. If I had the space, I'd own both. You do have space, you just got a park mamas car outside.
redkow97
I think cruisers are great for cruising. What kills me is the guys who talk about how they don't want or need a fast bike, and then proceed to wind out the first three gears at every stop light. Gixxus Christ!
Lol...my 1100 shadow would do 75 in 3rd I think....
blueskeyes
The stupid high stock gearing on my Tuono would just be getting ready to shift into second at that speed. Sixth gear, please...never used that unless I was about a buck.
Gixxus Christ!
My bandit does 90 in 1st, 120 in 2nd, 135 in 3rd...Also turns 4k @ 70 in 5th....but I wish I had a 6th gear in it at 90....
Ryan_c_F
Lol ill get right on that. 90 mph in the rain through my neighborhood streets that resemble a bombing range.... If you go fast enough you sort of skip overtop of the craters.
Ryan_c_F
Or buy a cruiser with a big fairing, windshield and lowers. Like I suggested about 10 posts ago. When I bought this one, it was between the FZ1 and a 2008 S83 Boulevard with about 500 miles on it. Some guy bought it and like, immediately died. Ended up on cycletrader at a dealership in Michigan. It was exactly the way I would have kitted it out, had I gotten the customization bug -- drag bars, black paint, sissy delete. Ended up going with the Fizzer because I can tour on this one just about as easily as I could on a cruiser. My lower back doesn't like to sit upright all day for some reason, I always end up trying to lean forward into the wind.
