Casper Posted June 1, 2014 Report Share Posted June 1, 2014 It appears they doubled their prices. They now take credit cards, but charge $2.00 to do so. The music is horrible. 80s ish. No more classic rock. The big screen was playing the DIY channel. On a warm, sunny Sunday, the place was pretty dead. It's definitely not the same Jimbos. I was kind of bummed. We did notice the bar/grill on the other side of town was hopping. Seems the crowd may have moved. I'm not sure if call Jimbos a biker bar anymore. Hipster was the word thrown around. DAC Posted June 2, 2014 Report Share Posted June 2, 2014 Hmm. Rode by yesterday and it seemed like they had improved the outside. Been a while since I've been in there though. The timing usually isn't right when I go by - too early or too late. If business tanks, they'll make adjustments. The high chairs were the official signal that the outlaw biker aura that used to be Jimbo's is dead and gone.Best quote do the day from a Mrs. Pirate to Ben and Shawn as the we're zipping up their leathers " why do ya'll have to wear all that".
