Gixxus Christ!
Fathead is too west coast for me...too much pineapple and grapefruit flavors. I'm drinking a new Belgium ranger, pretty good.
jhawk
Battery held the charge. Got new battery in, it started then stalled out. Now wont start back up.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gixxus Christ!
Hmm... I wonder if you have a sticky float and you're dumping gas into the cyl...pretty common with downdraft carbs. Pull the spark plugs and look down in there. Also, smell your oil.

jhawk
Oil smells like gas. Also, i haven't spilt any gas and garage reaks of gasSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jhawk
I get a loud click when cranking as well and have noticed the seat seems to be warmer then in the past.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jhawk
I am thinking it is the rear coil. It is very hard to get to, so havent been able to put a meter on it. I think rear coil controls fuel pump as well. I lost suction on the fuel line when connector was off. jhawk
Battery died again from cranking and not starting. Have it on tinder to charge again. Will figure out how to get to coil as well to test.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gixxus Christ!
Dump the oil, pull the carbs or if you can just the bowls and look for debris in the float valve. It only takes a spec and that thing will dump gas. You're lucky you didn't hydro-lock one of the cyls, that will typically break your starter clutch or starter gear. jhawk
Just went out and bike started right up, could it just need a new battery?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wrenchandsprockets
Agree with CSC... How's your oil level? Overfull could be a sign of gas getting to the crankcase as well. You could scar up rings, cylinder walls & more pretty quick if too much makes it into the crankcase. As a kid I loved motorcycles, ever since my parents first told me I couldn't have one

jhawk
Bike ran great on Sunday, put 30 miles on no issues and road it to work yesterday no issues. Not sure what the issue was, but bike runs great now!
