A leather 2-piece leather suit that’s equally at home on the track, or on the way to the office, the Atem 2-piece provides much of the same protection you see in the company’s full-on race suits, but in a design that’s suitable for more than just trackdays and racing. Unlike lesser two-piece suits which use weak, small zippers, the Atem 2-piece employs large YKK zippers for attaching the pants to the jacket. This arrangement provides for a reliable closure that not only serves as a safety mechanism, but keeps the elements out on less-than-sunny days.

In a nod to the suit’s racing heritage, Alpinestars Dynamic Friction Shield (DFS) external armor is found in the most vulnerable places: the knees, elbows and shoulders. These protectors enhance the already stout stitching in these critical areas for exceptional protection against blowouts in a crash. Plus, each of these areas are backed by CE-certified GP-R armor directly below to mitigate the forces of an impact, reducing the risk of injury. The two-piece suit is configured in a trackday cut, that is, it’s built to be comfortable on fast bikes. Though, a myriad of leather accordion stretch panels (and stretch fabric in non-impact areas), provide a comfortable range of flexibility so, even off the bike, the leathers don’t pull at you in a strange way. Plus, the skin-facing side of the suit is laid out with a mesh panel to reduce friction in movement and also, provide additional cooling capacity.
