Mallard Posted April 24, 2005 Report Share Posted April 24, 2005 I beleive the AEM is ~$1200, I've heard the stroker kits are expensive, but it you pick up the crank and have it machined yourself it can be done for a lot less (I think my friend had ~$2000 in his), GT35's aren't cheap and he has a tubular manifold (~$1200) and a custom exhaust. Plus anything else you'd need to make it run right. (Injectors, clutch, etc.) *Those prices are assumed from what the same things cost on the Protege market and through word of mouth. Doesn't surprise me vs. a car w/ 601HP at the wheels on 30psi which was racing at 35psi; it probably had a good 200HP advantage to the ground!
