There's no replacement for displacement

I beleive the AEM is ~$1200, I've heard the stroker kits are expensive, but it you pick up the crank and have it machined yourself it can be done for a lot less (I think my friend had ~$2000 in his), GT35's aren't cheap and he has a tubular manifold (~$1200) and a custom exhaust. Plus anything else you'd need to make it run right. (Injectors, clutch, etc.)

*Those prices are assumed from what the same things cost on the Protege market and through word of mouth. I have not looked up actual EVO prices.

Thats a fast azz EVO, but it pulled that 500hp LS1 really hard on top end....hmmm

That Camaro may have been 500HP at the flywheel, but I doubt it at the wheels. Doesn't surprise me vs. a car w/ 601HP at the wheels on 30psi which was racing at 35psi; it probably had a good 200HP advantage to the ground!
