My sister inlaw has a 2000 dodge stratus and the brake lights work normally until you turn on the head or parking lights and push the brake pedal. Then the drivers side tail light goes out and the brake light doesn't come on. The passenger side works normally by getting brighter since both the tail and brake filaments turn on. The bulb is good and I checked the connector and it works normally. I also cleaned all the contacts. I'm guessing its a short somewhere, but I figured I'd throw it out to you guys to see if its a common problem. I don't know alot of dodge products either.
