armin922
Hey im jw, i have a 00 camaro z28.......I want to use the stock monsoon head unit, where can i find the remote wire to power up the amp to the headunit. Also, what color is it? Does anyone also know an easy way i could run the power wire through the firewall?
smokin5s
there is a pink wire under the dash that is the accessory wire.... as far as running the power wire, there is a rubber gaumet behind the PCM in the engine bay... (passanger side behind the shock tower)
Nitrousbird
Go aftermarket H/U. It just won't sound as good running the factory unit.

nathan
The PAX unit is $78. This will allow for steering wheel usage. The original CD players are extremely crappy so that is why I would not leave the factory unit in. The speakers on the other hand are actually pretty good. If you can find a DIN 1.5 head unit it will not even need the adapter plate.
