zeitgeist57
Hey Vette owners (now or previously) with glass tops... Does the plexiglass top offer any UV protection? Mine is tinted, but in this June sun I feel it baking down on my lily-white skin something fierce. redface.gif I need a tan, but just want to know HOW MUCH of one I'll be getting with the top on and not just with the top off. Thanks! smile.gif
Maro
You can still feel thermal radiation without getting UV exposure. My guess is that the glass has UVA in it to protect you from buring....

Guest stvbreal
When I had my 96 CE I had no problems. Drove it to NC and back a few times.

smokin5s
I've never had problems with my glass roof, but at the same time, I've always had the top out since it goes out on nice days.
Total Sign
Oh, If you take it off and dont want to put it in the back (a little lazy one day) dont leave it on the grass. 20 min fried the grass underneath.
Ryoga
Nope, no burns for me. To be honest I haven't even really had the problems you mentioned with it beating down on my head with heat either.
