No more swirl marks

Guess I have to change my name. ;) Had my car detailed, mainly to get rid of some overspray that was on it. Someone had painted something white very near my car, and there were little white dots all over it. I had also used some touch up paint, and then wet sanded to blend it in, so there were patches that didn't match the rest of the paint. No more. Also realize this car has 103K miles.

I have a very specific reason for buying this car, and it will never, EVER, be fast. I'm saving that for my next car. Plans are in the works. ;)

Eli, I'm glad you're happy with the outcome and I thank you and others in this thread for the kind words.

For those interested in the process and products for this "overhaul"...there was a total of about 4.5 hours spent on the paint alone. My wife was kind enough to come help out with the interior for me so that I could concentrate on the paint.

Exterior:

*Wash with Zaino Z7

*Clay for about 1 hour for overspray...some still remains but lots was removed

*Heavy polish with Poorboys SSR 2.5 and cutting pad

*Light polish with Poorboys SSR1 and polishing pad

*Zaino Z2 sealant

*Optimum Car Wax topper

*Wheel Wells cleaned with Special Green and dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant

*Tires Dressed with ??? (Crap can't remember...I think it was meguiars Hot shine or Megs high endurance gel...one or the other)

*Glass cleaned with Invisible Glass

Interior

*Vacuum and dusted

*Dasn and vinal dressed with 303 aerospace protectant

*Carpets, Mats and Seats Shampoo'd

*Glass Cleaned with Invisible Glass

Overall...I'm very happy with the outcome. It's hard buying a black car second hand as this one was obviously not owned by a "car person" and the neglect to the finish was obvious..none the less I'm very happy with the results.

Unfortunatly I didn't get any after pictures becuase it was 10pm when I finished...but here's a picture that depicts the tranformation a bit. This is of the passenger door half way through with the polishing. Left side polished, right side not.

And Eli...here's an old shot of a car that may be familiar to some of you here...this is how I envision your car with some wheels and a little drop:
