Guest Harris92
Does anyone know of any current Is30o's with turbo setups? Im just curious as to how fast people have gotten these things
SquirrelyNutsDSP
I thought the AT/sport shift that came in all the 2001's could handle maybe 400hp before it blew up. Some people have gone to the 6 speed getrag, but at that point a lot move on to a 2jzgte swap instead of a turboed 2jzge.
Guest LexIS300
Harris, find last months issue of SuperStreet, Wino II is featured with his turbo IS-300. There is tons of them turbo'd and charged on IS300.net running 11s. The Auto can push around 330hp without needing to be upgraded, and yes the 6spd getrag is your best bet. Only a few have swapped a full 2jzdet into a IS-300, most just use the det block and still use the VVT-i head from the de.
