head studs or bolts

I went with the bolts.... ARP bolts can be re-used over and over again and going with bolts makes it easier if part of the motor is hidden and clearance is an issue. (Ex: F-bodies, half of their motor is under the hood, so to use studs, u have to drop the motor out of the engine bay to use them)

Ummm, 3/4 of your motor is under the hood. smile.gif What you meant to say is the rear 1/4 of the motor is under the cowl.

 

That said, I ran ARP head bolts simply because it was significantly cheaper and studds are overkill for my application. You can most definately use heads studds and pull the heads on our motors w/ the motors still in the car, though.
