zeitgeist57
I know that Kip (UPS Yours) had one of these tools to make changing the serpentine belt in my '95 a breeze, but he lives out in BFE smile.gif Does anyone else have this tool? It's like a breaker bar with multiple attachments for sockets. Thanks!
Ziggy1647545504
I've got a serpentine belt tool. Don't think that there is anything particularly different about the C4 setup than others. I'm in Gahanna.

smokin5s
if it's an LT1 then a ratchet should work... that what I used.
Ziggy1647545504
Yeah, a ratchet will work, but the additional leverage offered by a dedicated tool makes it a lot easier. I've used both, and found that having the right tool for the job just makes it easier. On a side note, the hole in the tensioner pully was designed for a drive to fit in. A serpentine belt tool is just a long piece of flat iron with a 3/8" drive on the end and an adapter for a 1/2" drive.
