brake question

i got my new bars in, and a new brake lever and resevoir for the front.

 

installed the new shit, topped the resevoir off with fluid and attempted to bleed the lines.. i ahve no pressure what so ever in the brake lever..

 

why is this.. and what do i need to do to fix it

Its just air... a shitload of it...

 

Most of it will come out when you bleed the bolt right at the master cyl. where the two lines connect. Pull in the lever and hold it while you crack that bolt. You will hear the air gush out. Tighten it, release the lever, pump it a couple times, then repeat.

 

That should get some feel back to it, then move to the calipers. smile.gif
