Is there a convienent place to hook in to the coil packs for a tach signal, of do we need to pay jegs $80 for that nifty little part? thanks Andrew
Dave1647545494
you should be able to tap in to the tach signal at the control module you'll have to look at the repair manual and see wich wire a factory tach would use for signal
302Powered
It should be the white wire on the the coil-pack harness.
Guest lustful
that or the way i have done a tach on several other cars is to take the factory gauges out and then tap into the one going into the tach there. didn't work for my car so i just had to play with all the wires on the coil pack until i found the right one. then done. amazingly noone on 3si.org knew which wire it was. good luck
