Guest DagoRcR Posted December 10, 2003 Report Share Posted December 10, 2003 02 Jetta 2.0L for a 02 Jetta 1.8t. Ive found some 1.8t for $~1500 -2000.... how easy could this swap be made..... Anybody have any knowlege on this subject... as far as Tranny, ect.... I think the 1.8t usues the same 5 speed tranny as the 2 L does... but i dunno... anybody been down this road b4? Guest DagoRcR Posted December 11, 2003 Report Share Posted December 11, 2003 i'd rather go from the 1.8t base and stage that... 2.0l has some oil consuption problems, 1.8t is overall better engine. + if i can make the switch i found this kit that can give me 350 from the 1.8t engine. for about 5k ~ish... that would be nice.
