Guest drifter
you dont want to use any sealer. just put it on the block right side up and then torque the head graemlins/thumb.gif

slow4now
First thing you need to do is take that Autozone gasket and throw it in the trash! WTF would you go through all that trouble only to use an Autozone gasket!?! At the very least get a OE metal headgasket. Dare I ask what kind of bolts you are using? desperado
Well the same ones that came out of it of course. If that is the answer, don't do it. Go buy at least new stock bolts, or better yet ARP studs.
Guest wayy2muchpsi
it was just about the same dang thing that went into it.
iwishiwascool
Definitely throw the AZ gasket away. Dennis has then for 38 bucks with the "Club DSM" discount. I use copper seal on mine even though its a composite gasket just out of habit. You dont really need that unless you use a mitu 4 layer. Those are the only 2 gaskets you should be considering. Jegs has the ARP head studs for $78. Thats the cheapest price. They are well worth it for the peace of mind factor.

Dave1647545494
the gasket should be a fel-pro if its from zone.
