Dave1647545494
I would call dirty radiator on that one. at highway speeds you force more air through it. dies your fan come on? if it comes on get the rad boiled out.
Venture Guy
yup..the fans come on...and the inside of the radiator?? is that what your talking about being dirty?
Dave1647545494
yes over time you get dirt casting flash and all kinds of nasty stuff in there
Guest blkcivic
did you test the thermostat, you can do this buy boiling some water on the stove and dripping it in to see if it opens, i would try that first cuz' it would be the cheapest fix
SupraGlue
Do you have an electric fan, and is it working? If it's thermostatically controlled, that sensor could be bad also.
Conesmasher
Sounds as if it may be time for a flush and fill....or a remove and refit
Venture Guy
i went out tonight....and i have reason to believe it may be a sensor...because when i got home....i let it run for like 30 secs....and NO FANS.....so that must mean a sensor? .... GRN96WS6
The fans will not come on until the engine is heated up. You need to let it run and heat up, then the fans should come on. If they don't then you might want to check the thermostatic switch.
