need lifters

anyone know where i can find .921 dia. roller lifters? i know they came standard on 1986-1990 307 oldsmobile engines. i am looking for a good set for an engine i am building. mondello wants 500 a set for them, trying not to take that much of a beating on just a set of lifters.

I wonder if it would be cheaper to have the lifter bores opened up to .927 (SBC and BBC) lifter size and run chevy lifters. I don't know for sure about this. PM Tinman,, if anyone here would know about shit like that he would be the guy.

trying not to bore them out, material would be getting a little thin.

any oldsmobile people on here at all have any spare parts? i am also in need of an intake for a big block olds, oand any other big block olds parts you have laying around, shoot me a pm

Standard SBCs use a .842" dia. lifter, not a .927. You could use some bronze liners honed to the chevy size.

Opps my bad. Getting old blows. I was thinking that someone used that size, either factory or aftermarket, but I might be wrong. Unless I am confusing wrist pin diameters and lifter diameters.
