black00ws6
My 6 1/2 year old Rottweiler passed away this weekend. He had a pretty bad case of heartworm, took him to the vet on Sept 11th and he was showing signs of improvement up until this past thursday then everything went downhill. He had lost about half his weight, but gained some back in 10 days, but after not eating most of friday and all day saturday he gave up the fight sometime during saturday night. RIP vader, I'll miss ya boy. [ 28. September 2004, 11:23 AM: Message edited by: Blowzilla ]

black00ws6
Yea it sucks losing a dog.. They don't care if you're fat, short, ugly, etc, they love you no matter what. I still have another Rott, Apollo, and he is already lonely it seems. I'm planning on getting another (if the boss lets me) in our new house sometime next spring. Here are pics of both of them. The first is Vader , the next is Apollo. http://cimellc.org/pics/vader.jpg http://cimellc.org/pics/apollo.jpg
Wease
Sorry to hear that. Out of curiosity, did you ever give him heartworm pills? I give them to my dogs and I hope they work...

CobraKevin
I'd hate to lose either of my dogs. One of my dogs used to have seizures quite frequently, and she's been on pills ever since. Sorry about your loss, man.

suffocateXfaster1647545505
I'm real sorry to hear about that. I remember when I was a little kid and my first dog died, a Welsh Corgi (spelling?), I loved that dog to death. It's hard to lose something that loves you no matter what. No, we got him from a breeder a little over 4 years ago. He's a tank, doesnt look it in that pic but he weighs about 150. He's a big baby though.
