The first several attempts to dial up don't go through, then It signs on, but you can only work "offline", so you can't view current pages. That works for maybe 2-3 minutes, then it signs-off. thanks again, Tom
black00ws6
Get adaware.. update it, start the PC in safe mode, run adaware, restart back to safe mode, run again. Restart to normal windows and run it one more time. Should be good to go.
Guest stvbreal
So what you are doing is connecting with AOL then using IE to view pages on the web? If so try an check this also. Go to Add/Remove Programs. Then go to Add/Remove Windows Componenets. Find Internet Explorer. Make sure that it is checked. Also, when it only allows you to work offline, before do you get a message/dialog box that say Connect or Stay Offline when you open IE? Check you PM. I would call but phones are not turned on yet and my cell is turned off. Switching numbers to Colorado.
