Need Key Made

yeah my dog kinda stole my bike key off my desk, and i cannot find it... its the onyl one i had. So i need a recomendation on a person to take on this task. i called one place and they want $85!

seems outrageous to me.

If not, I can only think of a locksmith, who you've probably already called them and they want $85.

Well, I would say call a bike shop. They might be able to hook you up.

If you can get me a couple of blanks, I can impression a key for it. It's a locksmith trick, that I learned, well when I was a locksmith.

 

But then again I ain't no better a moderator than I am a locksmith. So I really don't have any idea what I am talking about. Like most of my posts. But if you really want it done, $50 and get some blanks. Think about it this way. It's no different than the motor blowing, it don't run with a blown motor any more than it will without the key. And its' a hell of a lot less expensive than needing to rebuild the motor to get it back on the road. But like I said, I don't know what I am talking about.

When i locked my key in the back of my bike a locksmith made a key that worked to open it because he couldn't pick my lock. So that probably the cheapest. If its your bike you might need to get a new transmission and that woudl suck.

I can do it for free but your new key will say Craftsman on it and will be shaped just like a flathead screwdriver
