tandm
I've been looking around and it seems I'll have to spend around $300 for a worthwhile tiller. Anyone have any suggestions. I have to till two decent sized gardens. TIA!
Akula
Look at Lowes or Home Depot's rental department, they take the most beating. I am pretty sure they use Honda tillers. My father in law uses one (a honda) in his commercial garden.

JaSSon
The Lowe's on E Broad has a Troy-bilt tiller that was returned and serviced that's for sale. You can call and ask. 238-2601, ask for the seasonal Dpt. If I remember correctly, the pulley fell off the crank shaft and that's why it was returned. It's a front drive rear tine tiller. It seems fairly beefy and it's heavy as hell. Call and check on the price. Try and talk them down on the price. Don't mention that I said that tho

nathan
I say honda, those things are one pull everytime! The only thing is that they are out of your price range I am afraid. Rear tined will be much easier on your body, and the weight will allow them to dig in a lot better than the front tined
